So both the Technical and Partner interview were on the same day.
Technical Interview..
Introduction...
Father's occupation and where does he practice?
How did u come into CA?
What do u know about us?
Future plans, Will u join industry, private practice or become partner of a firm?
What if KPMG or AFF induct u? Will u leave?
They asked me my favourite subject. I said "Both Audit and Reporting".
They asked me about"Preliminary Activities" and auditor's response towards fraud.
They asked me about my hobbies.
I had "FOREX" and "Sketching" mentioned in my CV so he asked me questions about them.
What about "Business news"?
I did mention PSX crash, they asked me reasons for the crash.
How will you manage your Accomodation ...
They said we want disciplined individuals and we will make u wok overtime often. Are u OK with that?
Partner Interview..
Introduction?
Father's occupation and a lot of questions regarding his profession.
Law or CA? Which one is better?
Same question as above, what if u get a call from kpmg or aff?
Are yo willing to join our Tax department?
I did mention in my Tech. Interview that if possible in future I will do Tax Practice.
Then he asked do u have any questions?
And that's it.
